“These awards, like the whole femtocell industry, have transformed out of all recognition since their inception. The overwhelming consensus in the mobile industry is that femtocells represent a critical part of the evolution of mobile networks. This is reflected in the growing number of deployments by almost all the major operator groups as well as the smaller regional players,” said Simon Saunders, The Femto Forum’s chairman. “These awards recognise and reward this remarkable transformation of the mobile industry. I congratulate the finalists and look forward to the awards ceremony when the industry will come together and learn from its success stories.”
